Used Scion for Sale

Scion is the "little brother" of the world-famous Japanese car corporation Toyota. Cars of this brand are designed exclusively for young people. All products of this brand are designed for the North American market. The history of the brand Scion began in the summer of 2003. That is when this division was founded in the state of California.

Initially, the company produced only two models under this brand. However, now almost a thousand Toyota dealers out of the existing one and a half sell cars of this series. Within five years more than six hundred thousand Scion cars were sold. All of them are distinguished by their low cost: only some sixteen thousand dollars.

Now Scion has three models. They are created on the chassis of the Toyota Avensis, and the engine has a capacity of two and a half liters. These are the models: xB, tC, and xD. Plus, the company is preparing interesting new products for release. As for the sales figures, they are not high yet. The average age of the buyer is about thirty-one years old. That is, the brand is youthful. And another statistic: seventy-two percent of all buyers purchased a Toyota for the first time.

For the release of the model in 2010, Scion employees slightly transformed the xB. For example, its appearance changed the front and rear bumper, there is a choice of new paint colors for the body. The used Scion for sale has received elegantly streamlined forms and body lines, but its fundamental features have been preserved. Now Scion has grown in size, which, of course, was a plus for the  interior's spaciousness.

Are used Scions good cars?

Nice car. Scion tC 1st generation will suit those who like to be noticed (the vehicle is rare and has a rather unusual appearance).

Advantages of used Scions:

  1. Dynamics.
  2. Manageability.
  3. Exterior design.
  4. Reliability.

On the whole, not a bad car. Of the shortcomings can be noted specific exterior design (although this is an admirer), small and not very comfortable. And the power to the engine could be added. However, the advantages of cars can highlight its convenience and efficiency for the movement in the city, and the quality brand Toyota.

Are used Scions expensive to repair?

Toyota, once used to sell youth cars, is still the second cheapest brand. Unlike other dead brands, Scion models have not been discontinued, but included in Toyota's model portfolio.

Is Toyota a Scion?

A little earlier, the Scion xB was very similar to the Toyota bB, which didn't exactly appeal to Americans. Car enthusiasts' complaints were primarily about the car's design. It was frankly rude, straightforward, and resembled some kind of a box. And designers listened to the requests of consumers, and the following models had a slightly rounded look, which gave it an American style.
